Groove With Me, Inc.

Groove With Me, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free afterschool dance classes and performance opportunities to low-income, at-risk girls in East Harlem, New York City. Groove With Me utilizes dance as a means to instill skills girls need to confront the adversity they face daily and throughout their future development. The organization seeks to decrease teen pregnancy, truancy, crime, violence, prostitution, substance abuse and gang related activity by providing girls-only, positive development programming.

90% of the expenses at Groove With Me go directly to programming, to providing free dance classes to girls. When you contribute to Groove With Me you know your support is going to the immediate necessities of a dance studio for girls.

Your donations help provide Groove With Me's girls the opportunity to not only experience professional dance classes in a beautiful and secure studio, but they also give the girls the chance to perform in professional venues and to participate in added programs like the Teen Leadership Committee.
