5th Annual Buds Bash
04/21/2011 - By New York, New York

5th Annual Buds Bash

On April 21, NYRP's Junior Ambassadors, The Buds, held their 5th Annual Buds Bash celebrating the world’s most famous environmental holiday—Earth Day— at Kurt Gutenbrunner’s Café Kristall.

The event featured a silent auction featuring great items, hors d’oeuvres, and inventive, eco-friendly cocktails courtesy of VeeV Acai Spirit.

The Buds are New York City's next generation of protectors of our precious parks and community gardens. They bring together some of the city's hippest and greenest individuals – aged 21 to 40 – who are looking for meaningful, yet engaging ways to immerse themselves in the environmental advocacy NYRP advances. These young, green activists are integral members of NYRP, participating in events and activities, and introducing friends, family and colleagues to all that our organization does.
