Traffic Jam

We want to inspire, motivate, and equip people to make a difference - to personally get involved and help make the world a better place.

. We work hard to identify people and organizations around the world who won't waste our support
. We don't get behind any cause we don't know personally and can't trust completely
. We don't take anything for our efforts - 100% of funds raised are channeled directly to those we choose to support

When we commit to support a group or organization, we dedicate ourselves. We commit to seeing our partners through their needs, to make sure they have what they need and can focus on their work. We don't want them to be distracted thinking about where the money will come from.

We will start by committing to helping Casa Luz. We just sent a self-funded team to experience the need there first-hand, and I have never seen a better managed organization entirely designed to enable the local population to help themselves. All the staff, from the program director to the part time cook, are local Costa Ricans, and the impact they are having is profound. The organization has been hurt by recent economic conditions affecting tourism as much of their funding was contributed by local tourism-based businesses not currently in a position to lend assistance.

When Casa Luz is adequately equipped, we will continue to support them, and begin to look at how we can help these other great organizations.
